Returns, Refunds & Fit Assurance Policy

Thank you for shopping with Salt Era. Every piece we create is made with intention and care. Because our garments are made to order, we have a tailored policy to ensure fairness, minimize disputes, and give you peace of mind when ordering.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY

All purchases are final sale, unless the item is defective or damaged.

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for sizing issues, preference changes, or change of mind. Instead, we provide Fit Assurance (see below). Please carefully refer to our size chart before placing your order.

[For physical booths and pop-up events] Please note that items purchased at our physical booths and pop-up events are not eligible for refunds or exchanges. We encourage you to check the fit and size before leaving the booth.

If your item is defective:

  • Contact us within 10 calendar days of delivery at official.saltera@gmail.com

  • Include clear photos of the defect and your order number.

  • The item must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and returned in its original packaging.

  • Once we receive back the item and validate the defect reported, we will issue a store credit to your account for the full amount paid for your item, no further questions asked.

  • Store credit never expires and can be used on any future order.

  • Crediting may take up to 10 calendar days.


FIT ASSURANCE


We understand that finding the perfect fit online can be tricky — that’s why we offer Fit Assurance. If you don’t get the right sizes upon receipt of item, you will receive store credit for the full value of your item, no questions asked. You don’t even need to ship the item back.

How it works:

  • Valid for 1 item per order only.

  • The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached.

  • Claim must be submitted within 10 calendar days of delivery.

  • You’ll receive store credit for the full amount paid for the item.

  • Store credit never expires and can be used on any future order.


To submit a claim:

  • Email official.saltera@gmail.com with your order number and item name.

  • Include a clear photo of the item being worn, with tags visible, to verify its condition.

  • Also include a clear photo of the item, measuring the side of clothing that is not aligned to the sizing chart.


Please note:

  • Fit Assurance is the only solution we offer for sizing issues.

  • No refunds or exchanges will be granted for fit-related concerns.

  • Sale or clearance items may be excluded.

 

ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY

At Salt Era, every order is carefully processed and prepared to ensure that you receive your items as quickly as possible. Once an order is placed, we immediately begin preparing it for dispatch.

For this reason, we do not accept order cancellations. This policy allows us to:

  • Ensure timely processing and fast delivery of your order.

  • Maintain fair inventory management, especially as many of our products are made in limited quantities.

  • Keep costs fair and transparent for all customers without adding hidden processing fees.

We understand that sometimes situations change, so while cancellations are not possible, you may still be eligible for an exchange or return once your order has been delivered (please see our Return & Refund Policy for details).

RETURN MATTERS (Defective Items Only)

Returns must be shipped within 7 calendar days from the claim date. Items must be in resaleable condition, with tags attached. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility and at customer’s own cost.

 

AVOIDING DISPUTES

If there is ever a concern with your order, we kindly ask that you reach out to us directly first at official.saltera@gmail.com. We’re a small team and will always do our best to make it right. Filing disputes before contacting us may slow down resolution and affect your refund eligibility.
